Chairperson opening remarks: Welcome to CPO Summit London 2026
Twelve months ago most of the people in this room were running an AI pilot. Today, more than half of them carry a P&L. Shelley opens the day by naming the shift that has quietly rewritten every job title in the room, from shipping software to owning commercial outcomes, capital allocation, and an operating model that looks very little like the one it replaced.
She sets the frame for the day ahead: less about whether AI changes product, and more about what a product organisation is actually for once building things has stopped being the constraint. She'll also walk through the format changes for 2026, including expanded roundtable time and a deliberate bias throughout the day towards what practitioners actually tried, and what broke when they did.

Panel: The CPO as a growth architect - product's central role in business model innovation
The modern Chief Product Officer's mandate extends far beyond feature delivery. This panel explores how today's most influential CPOs are acting as strategic growth architects, leveraging product expertise to drive fundamental business model innovation.
We will discuss how to identify new revenue streams, architect value-based pricing, and build product-led ecosystems that create competitive moats. This session will provide a framework for CPOs to move from executing strategy to defining it, positioning product as the core engine for sustainable, long-term business growth.

Closing remarks: Five things to do before January
Shelley closes the day by pulling the threads together - measurement, roadmapping, alignment, regulation, org design and pricing - into a short and deliberately concrete set of actions that delegates can start on the week they get back, rather than a summary of what they have just sat through.
She'll also flag the themes the room disagreed on most sharply, which are usually the ones worth watching, before handing over to the happy hour.
